Strong but comfortable
You can still breathe slowly and let your body stay heavy on the bed.
Firmer, focused pressure
Long hours at a desk, a heavy training week, a slow drive home. Some tension asks for more than a gentle massage. Deep tissue uses slower strokes and firmer, sustained pressure, with a professional therapist visiting your home, condo or hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Daily, 9 AM to midnight · Subject to availability

How it feels
Deep tissue isn’t simply a relaxing massage done harder. The therapist works more slowly, stays longer on the areas you point out, and uses steady pressure instead of long, flowing strokes. It should feel strong but satisfying, never sharp.
Common focus areas include the shoulders and upper back, the neck, the lower back, the hips and glutes, and the legs. Tell your therapist where to concentrate and they’ll plan the session around it.
Pressure, your way
Firm pressure works best when you speak up. Before you start, say where you feel tight and how firm you usually like a massage. During the session, a quick “a little lighter” or “more there” is all it takes.
You can still breathe slowly and let your body stay heavy on the bed.
If you notice yourself tensing up or holding your breath, ask for lighter pressure.
Tell your therapist straight away. This is not something to push through.
Who chooses it
Shoulders creeping towards your ears by Friday? Ask for extra time on the upper back and neck.
If you run, cycle or lift regularly, a rest day is a good time to book, rather than right before a big effort.
Hips and lower back that have spent hours in a seat.
If gentle massage leaves you wishing for firmer pressure, start here.
Afterwards
Give yourself a little time once the session ends rather than rushing straight on to something else. A glass of water and a warm shower feel good after firm work. It’s common to feel slightly tender in the areas that were worked the next day.
Deep tissue isn’t right for everyone. If you have a recent injury, a medical condition, a pregnancy concern or recent surgery, check with a medical professional first and mention it to the booking team when you enquire. If you simply prefer a softer touch, a relaxing massage may suit you better.
